Our collection of companies includes the central Harvest Hosts product, a membership that offers unique overnight stays at wineries, breweries, distilleries, golf courses, museums, and other scenic small businesses; Boondockers Welcome, a community of RVers allowing guests to stay overnight on their property for free; Escapees RV Club, one of the largest and most established RV membership organizations, offering resources, education, and community for all RVers; CampScanner, an alert service to book sold-out campgrounds; and Brit Stops, a membership connecting motorhome tourists in the UK and Ireland with small businesses for overnight stays.

The position: Are you an accomplished marketing strategist with a passion for driving growth through cutting-edge lifecycle initiatives? Join our dynamic team as a Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager and lead the way in achieving our ambitious acquisition and retention goals. As a seasoned professional with 10+ years of experience in email marketing, A/B testing, and analytics, you'll collaborate closely with the Senior Director of Brand Marketing to build comprehensive email content strategies, execute high-impact campaigns, optimize customer lifecycle analytics, and drive innovation through various channels like paid, email, organic, partnerships, and affiliates. This fully remote position offers flexible hours based on your workload and objectives.
Experience: The ideal candidate for this role should possess at least 10+ years of proven experience in digital marketing, email marketing, A/B testing, and data-driven decision-making. Expertise in the Google email/doc suite, email marketing strategy and execution, and HTML is crucial. Familiarity with Hightouch, CIO, CRMs, and analytics would be highly beneficial.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following general areas:
- Lead the development and optimization of our email content strategy, encompassing sales emails and monthly newsletters for all brands.
- Spearhead the execution of email campaigns, delivering compelling content for each send.
- Craft and execute a comprehensive lifecycle marketing strategy across multiple platforms to maximize customer engagement and conversion opportunities.
- Strategize and manage the email trigger series for all our brands.
- Drive innovation through A/B testing, experimenting with ideas to enhance conversion rates at every stage of the customer journey.
- Develop a cohesive strategy for multiple touchpoints to boost customer engagement and stimulate cross-selling.
- Lead project management efforts, overseeing diverse initiatives such as campaign work, acquisition funnel features, and overall marketing assets.
- Foster seamless cross-functional collaboration with other departments to support retention efforts and host marketing activities.
- Provide in-depth insights through monthly reports on traffic, leads, emails, conversions, and potential areas of growth.
- Stay at the forefront of email marketing trends, proactively incorporating relevant advancements into our strategies.
- Undertake additional projects as necessary to drive the success of our overall marketing endeavors.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, with a focus on email strategy, testing, and data-driven decision-making.
- Strong understanding of customer journeys and how to create meaningful touchpoints that drive engagement and retention.
- Comfortable working across channels (email, partnerships, product marketing, and affiliates) and finding creative ways to connect them.
- Hands-on experience with email platforms and HTML (you don’t need to be a developer, but you know your way around a template).
- Familiar with CRMs, Hightouch, Customer.io, or other lifecycle tools, or eager to dive in and learn quickly.
- Analytical mindset with a knack for spotting trends, testing ideas, and turning insights into action.
- Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects without missing a beat.
- Strong communicator who thrives in a collaborative, remote team environment.
- Passion for continuous learning and staying ahead of what’s next in lifecycle marketing.
- A sense of curiosity, creativity, and enthusiasm for helping RVers discover and connect with our brands.
Compensation: Harvest Hosts is a venture-backed company. Compensation will be based on experience but will range from $85,000-$95,000 annually.
